This step-by-step course is tailored to teach you the complete process of creating various types of vista assets for games. Including mountains, billboard foliage, and buildings.
You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the techniques used in the industry, while still keeping the workflows simplified to make them manageable for individual artists.

Next to the core course in which you will learn how to create static vista mountains and mid/vista range buildings, we have also included bonus content showcasing various techniques to create buildings even faster and more optimized.
Each lesson is presented in a clear and easy-to-follow manner, ensuring that you will be able to grasp the concepts and apply them to your own projects.

KEY FOCUS POINTS

This course consists of two parts. In the first part, we will go over on how to create vista mountains using world creator, marmoset toolbag, Zbrush, and Photoshop. These mountains can then be used as static meshes in your scene to quickly generate a vista mountain range. We will end this part off by creating billboard trees and placing them on our mountains.

In the second part, we will go over on how to create vista buildings. We will first focus on setting up our workflows and systems and create a “hero” building. After which it will be fairly fast to produce additional buildings. We will also include bonus chapters for people who want to generate more optimized buildings, faster buildings, or buildings without nanite.

We will end this chapter with a quick example of placing these buildings in a scene.

This course contains over 12.5+ hours of content – You can follow along with every single step.
