COURSE DESCRIPTION

Using External Resources.

As this environment primarily emphasizes level art, we will highlight excellent sources where you can discover both free and paid content to enhance your levels and infuse them with vitality, making your creations more dynamic and engaging.

Creating Custom Landscapes.

We'll provide instruction on crafting custom landscapes using World Creator. You'll also learn how to import these landscapes into Unreal Engine 5 and configure them alongside a landscape material, ensuring a seamless integration of your customized terrains into your projects.

Story Telling & Composition.

The primary objective of this tutorial is to instruct you on how to approach storytelling and composition within your level designs. In addition to standard asset placement, we will explore various techniques that you can employ to elevate and enrich your environments, adding depth and narrative elements to your creations.

Lighting & Post Effects.

Once all the landscape, assets, and foliage are in place, it's time to unify everything by illuminating your scene and applying post-effects. We'll wrap it up by creating final cameras and capturing portfolio-worthy images of your project to showcase your work effectively.

Another winner. This course really fits nicely with the others available from FastTrack, as they take you through the nitty gritty technical aspect of asset creation, where this one is more high-level, spending its time showing you how to get a thoughtful and artistic environment completed quickly using existing assets. Very excited to see World Creator being featured as this is a relatively under-represented aspect of environment art in the tutorial market. Can't go wrong with Emiel at FastTrack.
